On Sept 27 ACTION organised a Bike Rodeo together with the Old North Home and School Association and the London Cycle Link. The rodeo included several stations where kids could practise their biking skills under supervision from volunteers from London Cycle Link.

Lots of kids and their parents showed up on this sunny day and they also had the opportunity to learn about injury prevention and how to properly fit bicycle helmets from volunteers from the London Health Sciences Centre.

ACTION informed parents about the City of London’s proposed traffic calming measures in Old North and we had lots of interesting discussions. See here (link to Central North London Traffic Study | Get Involved London) for more information.

The Old North Sconery graciously donated cookies which were highly appreciated by the kids after their biking activities.

The event was a lot of fun and ACTION wants to thank all the organizers, volunteers, and participants!
