Old North neighbors and our kids will stage a rally to highlight traffic safety concerns, improvements, and strategies needed to improve safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists.

WHERE:  Old North Sconery, 462 Cheapside Street

WHAT: Concerned with deteriorating neighborhood safety for pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists, neighbors in the Old North community have created a Advocates for Calmer Traffic in Old North (ACTION) to focus on implementing steps needed to improve safety on the neighborhood roads.

Neighborhood speakers and children from Old North will join ACTION to demonstrate needed traffic safety improvements and to release the findings of a survey completed by local residents to assess the community’s concerns regarding traffic safety issues, as well as to determine the extent of support for initiatives designed to enhance the safety of children and adults on Old North’s roads, sidewalks, and bike paths.
